Worcester County Web Design is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities on wcwebdesign.com. We use the Ally accessibility plugin by Elementor and apply accessibility best practices throughout the site. This statement describes our current practices, known limitations, and how to report any barriers you encounter.
Worcester County Web Design believes that everyone should be able to access information about our services and complete tasks on our website with reasonable ease, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use. We use the Ally accessibility plugin by Elementor to assist with automated accessibility remediation and to provide visitors with on-screen accessibility controls including text size adjustment, contrast options, and cursor settings. We are committed to making ongoing improvements as our site grows and as accessibility tooling and best practices evolve.
Worcester County Web Design has incorporated the following accessibility practices into the design, development, and ongoing operation of this website.
We aim to make all pages and content on wcwebdesign.com accessible. Some content may not yet fully meet the highest accessibility standards, which may be due to ongoing improvements or challenges in identifying the most suitable solution in every case.
No formal third-party accessibility audit has been conducted. While the Ally plugin provides automated remediation, we cannot confirm complete conformance with WCAG 2.1 or any other accessibility standard across all pages and interactions at this time.
Some icon-based interface elements may not have complete screen reader labeling in every context.
Third-party tools integrated into this site, including WooCommerce, Stripe checkout, and the Soar CRM platform, are developed and maintained by their respective providers. We cannot guarantee that all third-party components meet accessibility standards in every scenario, though we select tools from reputable providers who maintain their own accessibility commitments.
Custom CSS transitions used on some pages may present challenges for visitors with vestibular or motion sensitivity. We intend to address reduced-motion preference support in a future update.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Worcester County Web Design uses WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a reference point for our ongoing improvement efforts. We are continually working to close identified gaps and do not currently claim full conformance at any specific level.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Worcester County Web Design website. If you encounter any difficulty using our site, accessing our content, or completing a task due to an accessibility barrier, please let us know.
You can reach us by email at [email protected] or through our contact form at wcwebdesign.com/contact/. Please describe the page or feature you were using and the specific difficulty you encountered. We will review all accessibility reports and respond within 3 to 5 business days.
If content or a service is not accessible to you in its current form, we will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in an alternative format upon request.
Improving accessibility is an ongoing process. Worcester County Web Design intends to continuously improve based on the following commitments.
We welcome input from visitors with disabilities on how we can make wcwebdesign.com more useful and accessible.
